Are you studying for a degree in art history, cultural studies, history, museum studies or a similar subject, and do you want to find out more about museum work?

The German Museum of Books and Writing offers students the opportunity to complete their compulsory work placements at the museum. These placements combine theory and practice and are a good way to get a taste of everyday work at a museum while the student is still in training. We have already been cooperating for many years with the Uniiversity of Erfurt’s Master’s degree course in Collections-Based History of Knowledge and Culture and Leipzig University of Applied Science's Bachelor's degree course in Museology.
