location Virtual

The German National Library’s DNBLab is a central portal where all users interested in text and data mining can access its data and free digital resources. We provide a general overview of the different ways to access our data, followed by a second, practical part in which we work together to create automated interface queries and export the resulting data for further processing.

  • 14:00 - 15:00: How can you access our data, and which type of access is most suited to which purpose?
  • 15:00 - 16:00: Practical introduction to querying various open interfaces for individual use of our data and content.

A basic knowledge of the programming languages Python and Jupyter Notebooks is not essential for the general introduction but would be helpful for the practical part.
