We will be offering an extensive programme of events at our locations in Leipzig and Frankfurt am Main to accompany the book fairs. The German National Library will not have a stand at the trade fairs this year.

The Frankfurt Book Fair will take place from 16 to 20 October 2024.

We would like to invite you to take part in the events, exhibitions and guided tours to be held on our premises in Adickesallee 1, Frankfurt am Main, as part of the programme accompanying the book fair. On Tuesday evening, the city’s reading festival OPEN BOOKS will traditionally open with the Blue Sofa at the German National Library. From Thursday to Friday, we will welcome well-known authors. On Saturday OPEN BOOKS KIDS will hold a reading festival for children in our lecture hall.
