Get to know us by attending one of our introductory sessions - either virtually or on site.
If you wish to take your own materials, you will need a transparent bag which you can either bring with you or borrow/ purchase on site.

Do you need assistance in getting started on your topic or support for a comprehensive search?

We will gladly help you with this and show you how you can structure your research in a focused manner.

We will be happy to advise you as requested during a one-on-one appointment held either virtually or in person in Leipzig or Frankfurt am Main. Appointments are available Mondays to Fridays at the times specified. Advisory sessions with a musical focus take place every two weeks. Please click on the button to make an appointment.

Coffee Lectures: coffee breaks with informative content

Our Coffee Lectures were designed to let you spend your coffee break finding out more about the library and how to use it by watching a series of short 20-minute lectures online.
The series of nine lectures will give you glimpses into many different areas of the library.

DNBLab: Events for everyone interested in text and data mining

DNBLab offers all bibliographic data and free digital object collections especially for purposes of automated processing and analysis. Along with a variety of online services at https://www.dnb.de/librarylabtutorials, we offer regular virtual introductory events and more advanced workshops to demonstrate the various access options and export formats and show you how to work with open access data, object files and fulltexts.
